This place is excellent. Really excellent. The food was great as is the atmosphere being prime oceanfront. What brings Polpo up to a rarefied level is the attention to detail with the upmost attention to service. One of my guests made some fairly demanding requests that had me rolling my eyes, but the staff there made it happen. The fact that they went above and beyond the call of duty to accommodate the request is amazing, but just the demeanor in which they did it was so positive. Then other members of the staff from the busboy to the manager came over to the table to check on us several times with a smile was brilliant. I'll be back.
The ambiance is lovely. We ordered a seafood salad that was advertised to come with lobster, shrimp, and crabmeat. Our waitress kindly informed us that the salad was actually mixed with mayonnaise, rather than just featuring the seafood on a bed of vegetables. She mentioned that there wasn't a lot of mayonnaise, so we decided to go ahead and order it. She was right; it didn't have much mayonnaise, but it had a very strong spice flavor that overshadowed the taste of the seafood. We will definitely return, but we plan to try something different from the menu next time.
Service and food was amazing as usual. Had drinks first at Bar and Bartenders were great. Not only in terms of drinks but both so nice. Hostess also were pleasant and seated us with a smile. They are your first impression to set the tone for a great evening. The food is always outstanding every time we go. Also the gentleman at Valet are also so nice. Perfect beautiful setting for a great meal.
We were expecting a much more upscale expirence given the venue and promotion. Of this wee a run of the mill restaurant then it would have been perfectly fine but given the venue and the price levels it certainly wasn 't reflective of the quality of the food or service. There were some good moments during the evening but not consistency that should have been expected.

My daughter and I were thoroughly delighted to discover Polpo, its fresh and perfectly season fish, vegetables and ambiance made for a super birthday celebration ! Perhaps equal to or beyond was our waiter, Will! Knowledgeable about all aspects of the food and wine selections, he was a quick to make us feel welcomed A wonderful communicator!
Overall we had a positive experience. Would definitely go back. The pork special and cheese cake were excellent. Waiters were polite and attentive. Pretty views. Prices were appropriate for a restaurant resort. Also, good variety of apps, pastas, poultry, fish and red meat.
From the minute we checked it was wonderful. Service and food was amazing. Our server was not only very professional but very nice. Management is doing a wonderful job. As a local I think it is one of the best Italian restaurant in area.
Always enjoy the food and service and especially the entertainment by George Bugatti every Friday and Saturday night! He is very talented and keeps the level of singing and playing so that you can talk to your dining friends.

One of my favorites now!! Food and service always excellent. Swordfish calamari and octopus all excellent. It's a little pricey but actually stands up to the charges. Nice ocean and pool views inside and out.
Great experience. We visited twice during our stay at the resort. Staff went above and beyond for us.
