On a recent trip to France we decided to spend a few days in Honfleur as a base for other sites in Normandy. As we walked along the marina we decided to stop for a tea and coffee at this unassuming creperie. I had no intention of eating, but always look at a menu when offered one. I discovered that gaufre is the French word for waffle and saw one that I could not resist, drizzled with salted caramel. What a wonderful surprise I had in store. Not only was this the most tender, moist waffle I had ever eaten, but the caramel enhanced it to the point of perfection. I had better learn how to make a salted caramel sauce, because going back to butter and maple syrup would be a major disappointment...
I went to eat at pom'cannelle this afternoon. there is not much choice given the low season but I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality and freshness of the products. The server was very nice. No regret! I'll go back to the house when I get back to the house.
Im not a gallette/crepe expert at all so we came here due to a tripadvisor rcommendation.Service was just perfect. Quick and sweet.We had some very nice gallettes and ended it up with a soft but huge waffle and a calvados shot.Their icecreams look awesome too
Petit restaurant qui ne paye pas de mine mais qui brille par la qualité des ses produits. La viande des burgers est incroyable et digne des meilleures boucheries. Une belle surprise accompagnée d'un service super sympathique.
