My husband and I had a date night dinner , The lamb Biryani and Saag Aloo, were the worst I have ever had. I couldn 't eat the Saag Aloo because it was too hot with whatever they had added, chillies or spices I managed to eat a small amount of the Biryani but again any aromatic flavours were overpowered by the added spices or chillies. My mouth and lips were burning. We didn 't eat all of the meal. I would have told the waitress when we paid the bill if she had bothered to ask if we enjoyed the meal. We have been there before but there should not be such inconsistency with the flavour of the food. We will vote with our feet and not bother again. We will stick to the Gurkha in Chatham in futu...
We have at least one Indian dinner when we are in the UK about once a year for 30 years) The dinner we had earlier this month was among the best. I am not usually a fan of Keema Naan but this was a good quality lamb, lightly seasoned, and the naan bread was thinly rolled, the best. The coconut shrimp was out of this world. The menu has lots of vegetarian dishes and coastal seafood. I would love to go back.
Lunch on a Saturday but we were the only table . We were served well by the waitress who explained the menu and gave us som good suggestions . We were the only people in the restaurant for the whole of the lunchtime period , maybe people don't know its there or perhaps some lunchtime specials would help with gaining more custom. I marked a 3 because some of the food was way too spicy for me
Chose Popadom as my leaving work meal for 20 of us and it did not disappoint! Bhakta the owner provided us with preorder sheet which enable us to chose from the entire menu. The service was seemless and the food fantastic. Was a memorable enjoyable evening. Would highly recommend!

From walking in and shown to a table by a very polite lady who explained everything, was left to mull over menu and I ordered some of the best Indian food I've had from the Onion Bhaji for a starter to the main and I must say Garlic Nann was tremendous, Thank you
Popadom is an amazing restaurant with a nice ambience, delicious indian food along with other cuisines and a very welcoming staff. Highly recommend for a day out or night out with friends and family.
