I visited the drive-thru at 9:20 PM. The website clearly indicated that they were open until 10 PM, but the rude young woman informed both the car in front of me, myself, and the car behind me that they were closed. I then went to the Popeyes on Veterans near Bonnabel and Homestead Avenue, where they confirmed they were open until 10 PM and were still serving deliciously crispy chicken thighs.
This is the worst Popeyes I've ever visited. The service is slow, and the chicken is poorly seasoned. My last experience at this location was three years ago, and I decided to give it another shot since it's close to my house. I won't be returning again. The chicken is still lacking in flavor and isn't fried properly. Where is the Popeyes quality that you'd expect in the city of New Orleans?
i ordered a spicy chicken sandwich, and it was bad. chicken dry, overcooked, very very little sauce, which added to the dryness. bun was slightly burnt. Sometimes they make a great sandwich at this location, but these days, more often than not, they are making bad sandwiches and i will not be going back.

Not at this location again. Spent over 30 minutes in the drive thru to end up with an incorrect order. Only had 30 minutes for lunch so couldn't go back to get order corrected. Fries were warm not hot. Customer service was awful. I watched 6 cars leave.
The food was fresh since I had to wait for it to be prepared. However, they forgot two of my side dishes. While two of the staff members were polite, the rest were rude and unpleasant to other customers. Overall, it seems like Popeyes is on a decline.
No chicken sandwich. No mashed potatoes. Asked for dark meat and got mixed. Just not a lot of attention paid to the details. Have been to this same one in the past with no problems, so maybe it was just a one time issue.
Stopped at the drive through after work. The line was reasonably short but moved slowly. Got 4 piece dark. One of the thighs was abnormally small and they were out of coleslaw.

I had an foreign object in my chicken nuggets from this location and nothing was solved after bringing it to the corporate's attention.
Very nice server, helped with the kiosk which is the only way to order.
