We ordered through the drive thru. Upon ordering we were told there would be a 7 minute wait for the chicken to cook. We were asked to park and wait for our food and they wouldbringitout to us. We were okay waiting the 7 minutes. Seven minutes went by, no sign of anyone bringing out our food. We had watched a few cars now get food and leave. Twenty minutes later, I walk into the restaurant, to be ignored while to girls employees stood around talking. There were lots of chicken in the pull area at this point. Quick note: I’ve worked in fast food so I’m always extra nice to employees EVERYWHERE. The food is really good but the employees are literally the meanest people I’ve ever met. I’ve gone there on my lunch breaks a lot but I now drive 15 minutes further to a different location just so I don’t have to deal with how disrespectful and rude they get over asking for something like napkins or extra sauce. This was my first time at Popeyes. I went to the one located in West Valkey Utah of of 5600 west. I went in at about 2. It was obvious that the lunch rush had come and gone. The tasted like it had been cooked 2 hours before. The fries were old and cold and the person taking the order was ridiculous and not helpful in any way. Not sure if this is the standard operating procedure but I will never go back. If you are going to this one do yourself a face and drive another block down the street to raising Canes. If for no other reason the people are that work there are pleasant.
