The food was great. I was craving lox but i was also craving eggs and home fries…. so i got both! It really just hit the spot!! The homefries were a little bland- but nothing a little salt and BUTTER can’t fix! I actually preferred this over the overly greasy, salty, and mushy homefries you get at most other places so i can’t complain much. Eggs were perfectly cooked, sausage was scrumptious, the lox and veggies were SO SO FRESH, portions were generous, and the atmosphere was great! I?m so disappointed. The food is good, but my only complaint is that the waitress was being so annoying and so rude to us, I went to the restaurant with a friend from another country and she was asking private questions to him that made us feeluncomfortable. And then she tried to correct me the way i pronounced the drink in a rude way. You guys should be better when itcomes to service customer. They are not nice at all. BE BETTER?.
Parking is a little tough on a busy Sunday but over all yummy and reasonably priced. Parking: Metered street parking (free on Sundays) parking lot behind building small but has cross through to other lot UNLESS some gods gift driver decides to park blocking it bc its right by the back door which is also where the handicap parking space is.
The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. There's a wide variety of options available on the menu. Parking can be challenging, and there are meters to consider. Nonetheless, I highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the area and looking for a good, affordable place to eat.

The best diner we’ve been to in a while! The blonde waitress was so kind to us and our baby. She brought out fruit and crackers which the baby loved. The chicken soup is amazing and the Reuben and fish filet were excellent. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, clean high chairs.
Best diner on Long Island! My family and I have been coming here for years. The staff is always friendly. The food always has great presentation and most importantly tastes delicious and consistent! The diner is always kept clean and well taken care of.It?s a true gem!
Such a loving vibe in this diner and so clean! Staff and crew really approachable and sincere in their kindness! Need to learn about the history ... Apparently there is a book where the diner is mentioned They also have a cool mural of The North Shore!So Good!
