Portabella - Table reservation

I visited this venue for dinner with a friend on a weeknight. The place was surprisingly busy, so its best to always make a booking. The staff were friendly and polite, which always makes the experience that much better. The food was much better than I expected. I had never been to this restaurant before, but I had read the good reviews. A relaxed environment, making it perfect for catch ups with friends. What more could you want with good food and lovely company. I will definitely be returning and I would recommend this place to others. They also do a Monday night special for their mains.

Value for money and always friendly staff. Table service is always welcome. Every time I go there it is perfect. The share plates like the stuffed mushrooms, haloumi cheese and the soft shell crab are yum. The pork belly (as per photo) and pork belly salad is always popular. Fish of the day (bara or similar- I'm not a salmon fan) with potatoes or sweet potato and veg is my favourite. Would love a choice other than craft beer though.. Heineken

We went midweek when they had special prices,lovely bar where my husband enjoyed some boutique beers.Both ordered the ribs which were excellent,terrific dessert menu and coffees completed a very enjoyable night.

My husband held a surprise birthday party.for me here. The food was yummy, the staff very patient and competent. The atmosphere casual but upbeat. We love it!

My wife and I have been eating at this restaurant for years and it never fails to please us with the service and quality of the food.
