My husband is a truck driver and his company is around the corner. Our truck was getting an oil change and we needed some lunch. Had never been to Portillos before. It was delicious! We ended up with 3 Chicago dogs and they were amazing! Finally a place that puts enough mustard on lol. They have a fast ordering service. Their onion rings small is large! Fries were great! I went back and got a chocolate cake shake, it was awesome!!! It's different but it's good! It's just what it sounds like. If you like to eat the melty ice cream on your plate that has peices of cake in it when eating cake and Ice cream, then you'll like it. It doesn't get soggy cause cake doesn't get soggy it just mixes tog...
I ordered a shake at the drive-thru and there were three cars in front of me. I would have been late for work if it weren't for the incredibly polite, quick, and attentive young Latino employee! He took my order promptly, rushed inside, and returned with my shake much sooner than I expected. Thanks to his exceptional service, I was able to get to work right on time. This young man deserves a raise or some kind of recognition—employees like him are hard to come by these days.
I’m a native to Chicago and moved to Florida six years ago. Upon visiting Portillo’s was obviously on my list. Just like I’ve always remembered, they had prompt and accurate service. Amazing Chicago quality hot dogs. There was an employee named Sandy that checked on us. She was very friendly and offered to refill our drinks. It was nice to see a friendly face. Definitely recommend to natives and visitors alike!
I ordered a hotdog and a hamburger, and both were excellent. The young men who took my order—Francisco, Christian, and David—were cheerful, positive, respectful, and friendly. The food was fresh, and the quality of the meat in each dish was top-notch. I truly enjoyed my meal here. It’s a fantastic place! Thank you, Mr. Portillo, for following your dreams.

I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. A young Hispanic man, whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch, went out of his way to get my mom the strawberry lemonade she was really craving. It was our first time visiting, all the way from North Carolina, and he truly made it a special occasion. Thank you!
A trip to Portillos each time one is near, fulfills the gastronomic destiny : , get yourself over to one of their locations, enjoy the Italian beef, get it dipped in gravy have a portillo dog or two, enjoy a great burger but mostly get yourself over to a Oirtillo
Great place for traditional local food. I went with a colleague and we had hot dogs, sandwiches and fries. Very friendly staff and very clean restaurant. The drive through was super busy as well. Will definitely come back, next time I am in this area. Thanks

Fantastic. Ate here two days in a row. First day chili cheese dog and fries Second day double cheeseburger and fries. Both days excellent food and service.
