First time at a Portillo's, we were super excited but my goodness what a hot mess from order to finish. The Cashier was very friendly, but she couldn't hear the order and it was wrong. We had to go back three times to get a cheeseburger correct. Inwhich the two manager/crew leaders or whatever they were, gave my husband an attitude, while remaking the cheeseburger threetimes. The bread that came with the garden salad was hard like a brick, no flavor and the fountain soda was flat with nocarbonation. The only reason I gave this experience a 2 star, is because the restaurant was semi clean and the restrooms, wereclean and stocked.
This is my favorite place to eat when I visit Peoria. There was one time when my Hot Dog was cold, but that was years ago. I can honestly say I haven't a bad experience since then. I want to try something new whenever I go, but I always end up getting a Burger or Chicago Dogs. Burgers are charred and very tasty. Chicago Dogs are outstanding! Found the cake to be over -rated but that could have been a bad day. We all have them. Nevertheless I highly recommend Portillo's. Looking forward to my next visit. God Bless!
The safe was hit or miss. You and some people who were nice, and others who seems a bit 'hood ' for no reason. However the superstar here is the food. I had a double cheeseburger and it 's huge and tasty. I also had a Polish sausage and chocolate cake. I wanted the Lemon cake, which is by far the most delicious cake in the menu but they won 't have it until late April. A solid 4 stars is as far as I can go here.
They are not paying attention to the orders that come in. I had to wait 5-10 on my salad that I ordered. That was all I ordered, all they had to do was open the door to get it out gave me the nasty house dressing instead of ranch. Then it happened again but this time they gave the people after us their food the fries were warm not hot. So very sad

This place has the best milk shake I have ever had. The Cake Shake. As good as advertised. Very good cheese sauce. Also all the employees were very nice and the store was exceptionally clean. Amazing!
Went through the drive through. Waited in line for several minutes. Ordered my whole to-go order. Tried to pay and was told that they do not except cash. What the hell. I will never go back.
We love Portillo's. Whenever we see one we stop. This one didn't disappoint. Fast service and delicious food. Come see them now! While you are at it get me a beef sandwich
Had to have a Chicago dog while I 'm in the state. Not the toppings I 'd usually go for but would eat again. This place has a lot of options.
