Famous Bakery on the west and since I'm here I must try. My friend who introduces this bakery was living here in LA and now we live in NY. I guess they have many popular stuffs but one thing that she told me to bring back is cheese rolls. I bought 10 boxes since I will join a family party back home. I just found out they have 2 types of cheese rolls. One is baked and another one is frozen, and you need to bake it at home. The frozen only ship to your home, you can't pick up at the place. I visited Porto's for the first time and it did not disappoint. First off, I wanted to order one of everything. As that is not feasible or sane, I ordered the new cinnamon roll. WHOA! It was like a cinnamon roll and a croissant had a delicious baby. I have a bit of a sweet tooth. Based on experience, this was hands down the best cinnamon roll I have ever had. The cream cheese frosting was so unique and delicious. It wasn't super thick but it wasn't runny either. It was the perfect consistency. The chunks of cinnamon and the flaky roll were just *chef's kiss*. I cannot wait to go back to Porto's!!!
This is a great place to have lunch at! The service atmosphere was amazing the food was very fresh! My server Jason was very friendly provided so many suggestions on the menu including the most popular dishes. Although there was a slight rush my food came out a few minutes after I ordered. I would definitely recommend to others wanting to try something new on their lunch breaks! :

Terrible customer service! They asked for ID to pick up my cake, even though I had the order number and a picture of my order.
I absolutely love their pastries! The customer service is excellent as well. It can get quite busy here, though.
I like the food and I come more for the guallaba pastries made to suit the taste of the person.
