We went to the restaurant for food. Food was decent but server was very rude. When we asked for a recommendation on dessert the guy had the audacity to say “ again same question. Why do people from your country ask the same question. If you read the menu maybe you will learn a little more from there. “ He basically judged us on our country which was racist and then when asked if he can take a picture he said “ Sorry im not a photographer. You can take a picture at that spot but im not a photographer. Historic restaurant since 1845, I always go here when I'm in Gstaad. Swiss chalet atmosphere, impeccable service. French, German or English spoken fluently by all waiters and waitresses. Wise prices but in line with Gstaad. Proper cuisine, it's not gastronomy. A la carte vegetarian dishes. I really like this place out of time.
