I ordered a bowl of baked potato soup, and it had nothing in it had ordered a chocolate shake and it had no chocolate, told me the manager board that he added more chocolate and did not want to lend me, I had to buy another shake if I want more chocolate! Rude Customer Service Buyer goods!!! Management has no people he needs a job in a factory in a space of himself!!
Came in here for a drink at about 1am since the bar next door was closed. Bartender ended up calling my friend a homophobic slur at close and then he sat outside and wouldn't take any drink orders, so we left. Absolutely horrible experience and incredibly disrespectful.
This place is timeless. I first visited as a child with my Uncle Gary in the early to mid-1980s. I always entered through the back door and never used the front. I have wonderful memories of Charlie's, and I'm so glad that his nephew Chip is carrying on the legacy.
The staff was friendly, and the food had a delicious fresh flavor. Just a heads up: when ordering ahead, be cautious. I paid to add bacon to my meal, but it was missing when I received my order, even though it was listed on the receipt. Book a table now
I'm not going to Pot Belly. Sandwiches are always good. The Wrek is my favorite. Soups are always good. The potato is my access. This is comfortable and a pleasant place to have some dug and chill.
Great place to visit for a beer and their staple watermelon shots and conveniently located off the Metra station for any commuters that need refreshments after a long day of work
This is a fantastic neighborhood tavern. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming.
