I ate my first Potbelly Sandwich and loved it! it's similar to Subways sandwich and the concept is pretty much the same, you choose your bread, meat, toppings, and dressing. Since I've only eaten here once, I tried the Pizza sandwich since I'm a fan of pepperoni and it definitely lived up to my standard. I look forward to trying out the other menu items and creating my own combinations of tasty flavors. The service was quick and efficient and the servers and cashier were all very friendly and made it a pleasant dinning experience. There were other places to choose from around Rockefeller, but I'm glad I got to try Potbelly.
This is a great place to eat if you hate yourself. Go to Potbelly if you want your mind blown by the pure, unbelievable incompetence of the staff. It would be one thing if they just got your order wrong, but they not only get it wrong, they also seem angry to have even been asked to make you your meal. Entering this store feels like you have entered their break room and they seem offended by having customers in their vicinity. If you need a bite, go to the many far superior restaurants nearby.
Even though I always get lost trying to find this location it’s my favorite potbelly location in the city. I placed an Uber Eats order recently for my dad who’s a picky eater and in a hospital and forgot to customize it, I called and Issa was super helpful and even after the sandwich was made she re-did it to include the customizations. We stopped by here after our tour of Top of the Rock, and we were really pleased with the food! There was a great selection, and everything was delicious. The bread was soft, and the ingredients tasted fresh. The only downside was that the staff didn’t seem to have much patience with tourists. We were unsure about what to order, and they looked a bit annoyed with us, but overall, I would definitely recommend the food!

Usually the service is above average today they fell short I tried to order on line but it was the mad rush of lunch So I walked downstairs the soup bowl was 1/2 full. This is the place to eat at Rockefeller. Dip your sub into the broccoli cheddar soup and watch your brain melt!! Their milkshakes are hand scooped the old fashion way too, amazing! An icy coffee shake from here’s like no other available.
The staff seemed unmotivated and unfriendly. If they’re unhappy in their roles, they might consider working elsewhere. The beef steak sandwich was average; I've definitely had better. I wouldn’t recommend this place. 02/24/24 12:30 pm
The communication between the staff and customers is poor, making it difficult to hear anything in the restaurant. There are no clear instructions on how to order food. However, the food itself is good.
