This local bar is fantastic and one of my go-to spots for hanging out. They offer a wide selection of craft beers from North Carolina and beyond, both in the coolers and on the shelves. Their tap always features a rotating selection of different styles and brands. The atmosphere is relaxed, with TVs showing games, plenty of seating inside, and a nice patio out front. I have been a loyal customer of Potent Potables for almost 10 years now, ever since they first opened. My husband and I initially visited because of a Groupon deal, but we quickly fell in love with the cozy shop, the friendly owner, and the charming town of Jamestown. We were so enamored with the place that we ended up moving here! I adore the convenience of being able to walk over to Potent Potables for a delicious beer or to enjoy one of their many fun events. I also love the variety of food trucks that stop by. If you haven't had the chance to visit yet, I highly recommend stopping by to meet Steve and enjoy a refreshing beer.
This restaurant is a great neighborhood spot. It's perfect for families with a friendly atmosphere and plenty of games for entertainment. They offer a wide variety of drink options including draft beer, bottles, cans, wine, and even wine freezer pops! You can also bring in your own food or enjoy the occasional food truck in the evenings. I hope they have more food trucks as the weather warms up.
Love this place, but last visit put a bitter taste in my mouth, and it wasn't the beer. You better hope they have a full glass worth when you order your beer or they'll fill your glass with however much is left, and then charge you the full pint and say close enough. No comp or anything for a kicked keg.

I really enjoy this restaurant and their beer selection, but they need to improve on filling the glass all the way. I paid $8 for a 12 oz glass of 6% beer, but it was not filled to the top and often had about 1/4 of foam.
