Been here a couple of times and had the Chicken salad. I was pleasantly surprise how good it tasted. Went for deal which was a can of pop and crisp or cake for £2. A bargain compared to the others where you would have paid about £4. You could but the sandwich which generally is a £1. There are breakfast foods and other sandwiches reasonable prices, will give them a go next time. Service was no hassle, depending when you go.
The restaurant offers fantastic food at affordable prices. We always make it a point to visit when we are in the city center. My children really enjoy going there, especially because of their delicious bakery products. The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The restaurant is conveniently situated in the heart of the city and is easy to access. The environment is clean and tidy.
I have recently begun to go into the new pfund bakery in cannock and for £2,50 I get two hash browns a sausage, egg and cheese muffin plus a cup tee. eating is great and so much better, then gregg’s I have stopped going for my breakfast there, as here is so much better. the personal is friendly and smiling also:D
three words to summarize this place better than greggs! had only one of their steak bakers and it was the most beautiful thing I ever tried. they even do 2 for £ 1.50 on most of their hot hearty bakers. Book a table now
It does what it says in the name provide food for a pound. Have used both this and the Doncaster branch for a quick cheap snack. Cheaper than Gr??gs but not too much difference. Worth a try.
Popped in to pound bakery to grab some sausage rolls, cobs and a pasty. I was served quickly and with a smile. The atmosphere in the shop was good and the staff are friendly and welcoming.
I'm not sure why it's called a bakery, but they have delicious pies that are much better than those at Greggs.
