I recommend it to anyone looking for a gourmet in Paraty and willing to pay, I believe that it is one of the most expensive restaurants but I say that it is the one that least regulates the volume of food (enough for 2 women who eat little). It mostly serves seafood-based dishes, although it has some beef options such as osso buco and steak ancho. It's gourmet style, starters range from 40 to 90 reais, drinks from 35 to 40, beer from 26, and main course from 90 to 160 reais approx. Values for January 2024. Wonderful place! You become part of Paraty's history at this inn, very well located in the historic center. The room is super spacious and very tidy... bed, cleanliness, bathroom with Natura products. Exclusive breakfast, served at your table in the front restaurant, which makes the experience more complete. The restaurant is top notch (we had dinner in the back...garden) we found it pleasant and the food was wonderful, we ate very well and the price was fair, within Paraty standards for a good restaurant. My boyfriend and I spent four days at Pousada Bartholomeu and we loved our stay. The guesthouse is very well located, in the heart of Paraty and has a wonderful restaurant. Just noo fiquei muifo contente com a minha escolha pois tinha uma mousseline de banana que estava tao twelve que predominou no prato.
