I ordered the brisket tacos and my two sisters ordered the chicken with side dishes. We were dining- in. I was talking about how tender the brisket was and they about how well the seasonings on the chicken tasted. We all agreed that the side dishes were okay. Between us we had, carrots with brussell sprouts, green beans, mac/ cheese and mashed potatoes/gravy. All was going well UNTIL we saw a mouse running around the dining room. We packed up the food, threw it away and left. It was so disappointing.
Insanely tasty and satisfying food. We got a bunch of stuff to go back to our hotel room with last Wednesday evening and were so happy with everything. The chicken is excellent, cooked and seasoned perfectly. It doesn't even need any sauce but the sauces are delicious all the same. The rest of the food was equally good and I really enjoyed the chicken fried rice and the beans. My kids even liked the veggies. Great place. Staff was very helpful and patient.
Poyoteca has the best chicken in town. I am sad that I am too far for ubereats to deliver because I would most definitely order this place every other day. The chicken is always so tender and flavorful and cooked so well. The fried rice is AMAZING and has chicken bites in it as well. My other fav is the sweet plantains. The best part is the green sauce. I just want that in a drip bottle so I can put it on everything.
Generous portion sizes, good for the price. Vegetarian options are clearly labeled and there’s a good amount of them. The empanadas were slightly too salty for my liking but tasted good nonetheless. My friend got a bowl that he liked and filled us up. I will come back if I’m in the area again. Love the sauce station.

Oh, we have this style in Richmond VA. Peruvian style charcoal chicken is the best. Sometimes it can be a little heavy on salt but not here! Super tasty, nice flavors, and some charring. Just delicious. The plantains were great, the Mac was decent, and the black beans were standard. We really enjoyed our delivery.
I had a half chicken and two sides (fried rice and French fries) and paid around 20 bucks. Wouldn't ask for a thing to change. 4 stars as I wished the restaurant had a better atmosphere.
