It 's a Friday night and I don 't why they only had one server . We realized it when it took 15 minutes for the server just to greet us. We ordered and everything was fast which was good. Sadly, I was underwhelmed by the carpaccio because there was not much meat we are aware it 's thinly sliced) but it was not enough and there were no tomatoes at all even the description says tomatoes . it actually arrived 2 minutes after we ordered so we felt it was rushed because we were the last one who came in the restaurant around 9pm. The pasta was good but too much salt on the breading of the chicken. The Patate Rosmarino on their menu arrived like a plain potato slices with so much salt that we didn...

I stopped in today after the Linguine Padavani had been on my mind for a while—my go-to here. This experience wasn’t the best, but I think it was more of a fluke thing because PR has been fantastic every other time. I was seated immediately, even despite the upcoming Cubs game, but the service was a little slow. And the burrata and linguine were delicious, but those are two tiny crostinis and the chicken had a reheated taste to it. A little disappointing but not enough to sway me.I’ll definitely be back for more and am already excited. The food always comes out nice and hot, and there’s a cozy feel to it if that makes any sense. I also love the atmosphere at PR. It has a certain down-to-earth...
My fiancé and I lived in the area for two years and this was by far our favorite restaurant in the city. We visited probably over 50 times with friends, family, and colleagues. If we could pack their food up in a box and take it with us wherever we went we would. This family owned business never misses. From the drinks to the food, everything is chef’s kiss. The cozy atmosphere is welcoming and fun and we will miss it dearly. The ricotta limon pizza is a MUST if you visit, probably one of the best dishes we can remember trying. The service was always engaged and pleasant although it can be a bit of a worthwhile wait at peak hours, but the bar is a fun spot for those moments. We can’t wait to...
PR Italian is a cute neighborhood restaurant with nice ambience and decent outdoor patio in the front. The food is good but probably won't win any awards. I would describe it as a good neighborhood spot for a third or fourth date but not the type of restaurant you'd go out of the way to dine at.I had the Cesar salad, lasagna, and a cocktail. All dishes were good. As was the service. The price point was a little high in my opinion but it is within reach for most Lakeviewers Book a table now
So we ordered a Whole Margherita for pick up, it just comes with 3 ingredients. Well it didn’t come with the basil, we thought it was going to be under the cheese maybe? It wasn’t. They just didn’t put the basil, now I have a whole cheese pizza with some sliced tomatoes, very disappointing…Food: 1/5
Outstanding bar service! Kyle was phenomenal. They knew so much about wines from around the world. They introduced us to Lebanese and Macedonian wines. The gamberi carciofi was exceptional. Even the host (Keeton) at the front was incredibly lovely and welcoming! Highly recommend this gem!
Food was great, service was good. Definitely take the time to check the specials, and if the pork cheek ragu is on there order it. Great selection of wines by the glass, tiramisu was a good choice too. Outdoor seating is dog friendly.Food: 5/5
Literally some of the loveliest and most attentive wait staff ever. Food was also delicious I got the focaccia and ricotta limone pizza and can't wait to go back. The patio seating is perfect for nice days.Food: 5/5 Book a table now
We ate here after a Cubs game. The food and service were both outstanding. Owner and chef Stefano checks in on every guest to ensure their satisfaction. Top to bottom, a fantastic experience. We’ll be back.Food: 5/5
I'm confiscated that I've still been watching this neighborhood motto, as we've been here many times (even when they were Pizzeria Rustica) and never before...
