I wasnt on the hotel. I went to the restaurant for a prawn festival. It was desorganized and the lack of training and knowledge of staff and manager was clear. There were 2 lots of tickets with different prices for the same service and when questioningI was told it is an usual practice in Brazil. It wasn't advertised on the flyers and No one has given this information when buying the tickets. It was a mess. The worse money I had spent on the island. I don't reccomend the bar and restaurant.
Incredibly expensive. Their menu is very unclear and despite asking for a meal for one person and not to share, as is common in Brazil, I paid the full price. I even pointed out to the waiter I wanted a meal for one. Apparently only some meals are shared, nowhere it says which and I was not informed even though I even pointed at the disclaimer for 1vs2 people. Not cool. Also not the best quality food, so double the disappointment.
The beach is amazing and the restaurant/bar looks nice, their home made beer is lovely, but my girlfriend and I GET INTOXICATED after eating the PASTEU with schrimps. Obviously the SCHRIMPS were NOT FRESH.
Music, good food, seats. Happy beach. Not easy to reach by foot, we went there by kayak.
