This was my first visit. Unfortunately, the service was amateur and really off-putting. Both the lemongrass chicken and the pork bun were very good. The appetizer, summer spring rolls, were brought out along with the entrees. Though there were only about eight other guests in the empty dining room, staff wasn 't able to get that right. Now, I 'm not the type of diner that expects my restaurant food to be prepared by a James Beard award-winning chef. But the rice paper, for lack of a better term, wrapping the spring rolls had the same texture as cardboard. They were inedible. Inexplicably, three different dining room staff served our table. Visiting from NYC with wife and toddler. Love that this place closes later than other restaurants. Decided on family style and had canh chua tom, ca kho to, bo luc lac, and an eggplant dish that is not typically seen and let me tell you that it did not disappoint! Food was absolutely tasty and satisfied out Viet food craving. Staff were delightful and charming while the ambience and decor were more upscale than your average Vietnamese joint. Lastly the prices are more affordable than others. Would highly recommend!! ?
We had the most delightful experience at this restaurant. The generous portions of food were beautifully presented the meal was a feast for both the eyes and the appetite. Service was warm and very attentive. The staff was ready and able to answer any questions we had they gave solid recommendations. Reasonable prices as well. Highly recommended!
I visited here with a friend a while back and enjoyed our dinner. The place is decorated in traditional Asian style, and the food and service were lovely. However, we felt that the food had traces of MSG. Overall, I was satisfied with the experience.
