Downtown Springfield is littered with homeless and addicts. I was approached more than I have been in my home city that has multiple times the population. The building is historic so, I understand that not much can be done to have more modern amenities. Nice room except for the outdated TV, tub/shower and air conditioner. As much as I like the history of the building, I will not recommend it to anyone. Also, I think I was placed on the floor where the staff lives. There were multiple people who were in uniform lounging in the rooms.
