We had a reservation for a group of 12 at 1 PM, but when we arrived, the restaurant was nearly empty. Our group was running late, and at 1:30, we were informed that the kitchen would close at 2 PM. It would have been helpful to know that right when we arrived. The salad dressings were disappointing, and one sandwich was served without its main ingredient. The person who ordered it only realized this at the end of their meal, and when they mentioned it to the server, she offered some turkey slices, but by then the sandwich was mostly eaten. We arrived early for our reservation and were graciously seated, not asked to wait. Good thing, since there is no place to sit and wait. Service was attentive at times; not so attentive at other times. A mixed review of the food based on the different experiences for each of our party of three. One LOVED the fish special. I had a very good filet. The third had a steak that was overcooked and dry. Best meal features: broccolini, frites. Most disappointing: out of macarons.We heard that the restaurant will be closed for renovations for a while. We will try again when it re-opens, assuming that this may have been an off night. The breakfast at this hotel is quite typical in terms of food quality and pricing. My friend opted for the breakfast buffet, which was pricey at $34—I wouldn't recommend it unless you're planning to eat a substantial amount! I had the avocado salmon toast, and it was excellent; in fact, it might have had a bit too much salmon, which is a minor complaint. On the plus side, the waitress was exceptionally friendly!
The new hotel management has chosen to keep Preston's open only for breakfast and lunch service. The reputation of the previous dinner restaurant was wonderful....can't imagine why they have closed the dinner service.

There were only 2 other people in the restaurant. No one finished their food because it was so bad (no tast, no creativity). We were out if the restaurant within 40 minutes with the $50 check an empty stomach.
Excellent service, stunning views, and delicious food. Although it’s a bit on the pricey side, I would highly recommend it. I'm so glad I got to try the vegan breakfast bowl—it was tasty!
My husband and I came here for Sunday brunch got the buffet. The egg white omelets and fresh berry waffles were delicious!
It was fantastic! I didn't expect it to have such a hotel lounge vibe, but the food service was excellent.
