The restaurant is on a quiet residential Street in the 9th, it is simply and warmly decorated with an open kitchen in the middle. In conjunction with the great music, the restaurant has a wonderful ambience. Service was slow, apparently due to missing waiters, but maybe they say that every night. We ordered mains and desserts and came away with fairly mixed views. I quite liked the tortellini in broth, it had a nice rich flavour, however the plate of veal and tuna paste was not as appreciated. The bar is very nice decorated with the good atmosphere. The only thing which is very bad is the service from the stuff. We order the cocktails which costs 13€ per person. First of all Italian girl spoked with us in Italian, without knowing how to describe the cocktails in English or french language. We didn't understand anything but however ordered. After the degustation my friend found the the cocktail is terrible, we asked to change the cocktail and the manager accepted but we needed to payed the both at the end, because manager said that he never changed the first drink. Very bed service and very bad behavior from the stuff.
The pizza paste is fermented at length which makes it crispy outside and soft inside. The ingredients on top are very qualitative and tasty the pizza are delicious and very easy to digest. They have a selection of other dishes and antipasti as well. Some nice local beers too. The place is spacious and has some allure. It is also possible to have a drink at the back, which is very cosy with a library feel. The door to the bathroom is hidden in the library you have to push a book shelf to get in it is a nice design element. At least it is not boring to go to the loo!
Food is at best average, some plates tasteless (e.g. tortellini), and not really Italian. Price of plates are reasonable. Wine list is limited and over priced. Service is basic. There is a nice bar, but waiters know little about cocktails, perhaps better to speak to the barman.
