Good spot in Waterbury. Some of the best smoked meat I have had. Brisket was on point and the pork was delicious. Get the Mac and Cheese. That shiz was the bomb! Cheddar was so velvety smooth. The staff was super nice and very friendly, they gave some great recommendations on what cheese to get while visiting the Cabot cheese shop. Two thumbs up from me!
Pro Pig is worth the visit! We had 8 in our group and ordered two Buy the Farm meals, see attached picture. The meal came with a couple bottles of bbq sauces and a vinegar bbq sauce. The food was excellent, the drinks were cold, and they had something on the menus for everyone. Great place to hang out!
I'm defensive about Pro Pig. It's been MY little post-hike or bike spot for many years. Some of the best beer in the country paired with a few warm fresh tacos prepared in front of you? Every day please. Rustic and unpretentious. Just straightforward great comfort food.
We sat and the bar and ordered dinner. Everything was delicious! ! We had the pork plate, mac and cheese, coleslaw, and duck fat fries. My daughter said it was bussin' the ultimate teenage compliment. Our bartender/server provided excellent service.
