Prospect House Private Hotel is unique. Set in beautiful grounds, this historic property oozes elegance and ambience. Quiet music was heard during our superb dinner on Christmas Eve and our table of 4 loved everything we ordered. Being roughly 25 minutes from the CBD, staying overnight (as we’ve done in the past) is an added luxury worth exploring. Each suite has been meticulously upgraded and overlooks the beautiful courtyard and/or the fields surrounding the property. A perfect Christmas experience or at any time
What a fantastic experience! From the moment you walk into their charming farmhouse-style kitchen and are greeted with a refreshing drink during check-in, to the moment you depart, everything is top-notch. The dinner was absolutely delicious, followed by a relaxing scotch by the fire. The room was beautifully decorated and the shower was possibly the best I've ever had. Kudos to everyone involved, and thank you for a wonderful stay.
We was lucky enough to have the place all to ourselves, Kal had everything ready for us when we arrived even had the fire place going which I muchly appreciated. Kal spent the time to give us a bit of a tour of the building and the history about the place which made our 25 Anniversary just that much more special. Service was top class and food was excellent we really enjoyed our time here, definitely recommend
We had a great meal here, accentuated by David’s fantastic service. The meal wasn’t overly complicated simple food done perfectly. My fiancé said he had the best steak ever here, and he has been to almost every steak restaurant in Hobart. The atmosphere was so comfortable and perfect for a quiet winter’s night.
