Went in on a whim after wandering by it looking for someplace to dine. Our waiter was a very pleasant younger man. Very much a pub-like establishment. Music was a pleasant mix until the band started, the band was very good too. Food was very good, I had a steak and fries which came with a salad on the plate. The salad had a very well balanced dressing that was kind of a sweet and sour, maple syrup flavored, smoky flavor. Steak was prepared medium rare as requested and the fries were just the way I like them. Set in an older building with some of the great old woodwork you would expect to see. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
The service is good. I like that the venue is comfortable and the environment is really good. I would suggest to have some cushions on the wooden sits because the one behind becomes square Haha. The food really good, I satisfied my expectations. Many beers options, locals and internationals. And something that highlights also the service is that they open till midnight and speak English, so they can provide better service on a larger opening time, which is not common in the area. Very warm and welcoming Irish style pub with the expected decor to be seen in the style pub. They have a good selection of beer on draft and even a better selection bottle beers that are hard to find.The food was better than expected with portions in the large range. Their menu had adequate food selections that most patrons will find likable.Service was friendly, courteous and quick.
We stopped by to grab a bite to eat and ended up sharing a forest burger with fries and salad. Without even having to ask, they brought us two full place settings. They had an impressive selection of beers on tap. The music selection was what drew us in, and we were not let down. Depending on the night, you could expect to hear blues, jazz, or folk music.

This charming pub had a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home as an Englishman! They serve Guinness, but unfortunately, my pint had bubbles on top and I noticed that others did too. A proper Guinness should not have a foamy head. The food was decent, but I don't think it was worth the price.
Worst experience. I ordered fish fry, it was too oily and stale. The oil was really old, you can tell. I tried tipping 6 dollars to the waiter and she snatched the machine and selected 10 dollars on her own. Worst experience. You pay so much and get worst food.
Beautiful traditional pub in the heart of the old city! The poutine was amazing, highly recommend trying the smoked meat version! Would definitely recommend and come here many more times!
