The food was probably the best I have had in a long time. I ordered the flautas de pollo and it was so delicious I was sad once it was all gone ? the space it very small so sometimes you will have to wait but it is certainly worth it! Prices were very reasonable considering most places would charge a lot more for lesser quality. I will be returning! Parking: There are only about 9 parking spots in the front of the building but I believe you can also park on the street.
Got huevos rancheros. Gordita with chorizo. And torta don Carlos. Taste is bland. No spice even in the salsa. Food is 3/5 at best. Coffee with cinnamon also bland. Service is average. The vibes are kind of cool except for there’s no AC so be ready to be a little warm. Overall would not recommend. Can find better Mexican food almost anywhere else in Houston. All hype. Only good thing is their prices.
Pueblas is one of our favorite go to breakfast joints. The team is super friendly, the decorations are cute and kitschy, and they always have the freshest avocados it’s like magic. Go before 9am if you don’t want a long wait. Parking: If you’re there late be prepared to park in the neighborhood and walk. It’s primarily street parking as the four or five spots in front are usually filled
Authentic inexpensive Mexican food, I tried the chilaquiles, sopes and picados, very good flavor and fresh (they tasted like they were freshly made) the bad thing is that they don't have anything sweet to accompany your coffee, like bread or churros and parking is very difficult. The place is very nice and colorful. Book a table now
Hidden Gem!!! In for a treat, excellent service, pricing is fair, great quality food. Highly recommend Be patient parking is a nightmare, limited spaces, usually line out the door. Parking: Be patient finding parking. We waited and ended up parking in the front.
Great family oriented staff and service. The food is always great and very inexpensive. Hidden gem. Vegetarian options: There Nopales/Cactus ala mexicana without eggs, and nopales, potatoe, cheese taco for vegeterians is amazing
I ordered chilaquiles and added chicken and avocado next to it. Glad i found authentic mexican food. No TEX-MEX. Ambiance reminded me of being back home. 10/ 10
