Reputable restaurant, with a wonderful location on the beach of the oropesa shell and so well say that it is eaten. Fuimos a cenar un pescado y tras escuchar por parte del “maitre” que no quedaba nada de la carta salvo bacalao, nos ofrecen fuera de carta urta; accedemos y pedimos 2 platos. No entraré en pormenores sobre la calidad/cantidad de los mismos. Al pedir la cuenta nos cascan 34€ por cada plato y encima nos ponen “Mero salvaje”. Preguntamos al camarero y nos pone la excusa de que al estar fuera de carta es el concepto que han puesto. Pero aún es más divertido ya que ni siquiera tienen en carta mero (ni salvaje ni doméstico : y teniendo en cuenta que el plato más caro en carta era rodaballo a 24€, jamás pensé en semejante palo. Very good restaurant, the prices are not cheap but the food is very good. I have been going to this restaurant for many years and I always go back, I must also say that compared to 5 years ago the quality has dropped a bit. The oxtail croquettes used to be very good and now they taste a lot like béchamel. Bonito lugar con vistas al mar, tiene varias zonas, interior y dos terrazas. Es un restaurante muy profesional. El personal muy atento. La carta de vinos algo elevada de precio. En mi caso pedimos 5 platos todo a compartir: ensalada de aguacate con anchoas, berberechos, navajas, pulpo, huevos rotos con jamon, y aun quedo sitio para el postre, lingote de chocolate, lo recomiendo, todo regadito con un Viña Ardanza. El precio medio-alto, pero si quieres calidad merece la pena venir aqui. Salimos a 90€ por persona.
Precio excesivo para la calidad y cantidad. Calamares, croquetas, paella valenciana, agua y cervezas 45€ por persona. La paella no la enseñan, traen emplatada, no es lo adecuado. Por otro lado, tras revisar la cuenta había una diferencia de 64€ a nuestro favor.
Really good service, really great good food, not the lowest price but all in one a good choice of restaurant. We god the buratta, tuna tatar and really yummy fish. The guys suprise us with a tasty virgin cocktail
