We celebrated our wedding in the powder mill in early September. We couldn't have imagined the celebration better! The lovingly designed outer layer of the powder mill leaves nothing to be desired to create such an event. Our personal highlights were the wooden terrace in the Wiesent for champagne reception and dance floor, the campfire place (with very tasty stick bread) and the HotTub with beach bar and relaxation area. We stayed there in July for a few days with our three dogs. Ideal, one opens the door and is in the middle of nature and by the river. The rooms were clean and very cosy. The bathroom was new and very nice. Breakfast was varied and you have fresh fruit and eggs freshly prepared no matter whether agitating, mirror or soft egg. We could have breakfast inside or outside. The boss and the staff were super nice and helpful. The exterior was made with a lot of attention to detail. There was an outdoor hot tub in a demarcated area with loungers and beautifully landscaped garden where you could find rest and also on the huge outdoor area there were always rest zones to relax. We were here with 11 men for a weekend in this big pension. We were greeted by breakfast Tee Sabine, who immediately showed us the rooms. The rooms are individually furnished and each have a cosy ambience. The bathrooms are all new and everything is tiptop clean. The breakfast buffet was amazing. No one was missing. Eggs were freshly prepared in any form. The Junior Manager also took care of us and our individual wishes. He prepared us an excellent fresh goulash soup. The outdoor area also leaves nothing to be desired, hot-tub, campfire, beach, gigant chess, a great indoor sauna area, lounge with kicker, music system and much more. We broke a weekend in the powder mill with the whole family (14 people) and it was great. The rooms and the apartment are very lovingly furnished. The design of the outdoor area is a dream and also offers a lot of variety for children. The service is very friendly and accommodating. The implementation of our wishes, like a barbecue, was simply possible. And of course, breakfast is also very delicious. Thanks again, dear Micha! We like to come back!

Very nice complex in Wiesenttal with guest house, unfortunately no more gastronomy and only usable for hotel guests. ideal starting point for numerous hikes.
