Now, about the food—what a feast for the senses! We decided to order a bit of everything to sample a variety of street foods. Each dish burst with authentic Indian flavors, thoughtfully prepared with the perfect mix of spices. The menu showcased a diverse selection, beautifully representing Maharashtrian cuisine. Whether it was the aromatic curries or the delicious street food, every bite captured the true essence of Indian cooking. Overall, my experience at this Indian restaurant was exceptional. It wasn’t just a meal; it was a journey into the heart of Indian culinary traditions.

I was deeply satisfied after enjoying the street food from my hometown, Mumbai. The food was so authentic that I felt as if I were in a bustling eatery in Dadar, surrounded by a vibrant atmosphere. I particularly loved the misal pav, batata vada, and sabudana vada. A special shoutout to Pramod for his excellent service and for bringing our hot food to the table within 10 minutes of ordering. We ended our meal with ukdiche modak and kokum sherbet. Highly recommended!

The Pav Bhaji consisted of two pieces of lightly toasted pav served with a generous portion of bhaji, along with a small cup of chopped onions and a slice of lime. While the bhaji was flavorful and the portion size was decent for the pav, I would have preferred it to be served hotter. The Sabudana Vada came with two sabudana balls and a cup of dipping sauce. The taste was good, but overall, the meal didn't quite meet our expectations.

The food wasn't spicy and didn't capture the authentic flavors of Mumbai or Maharashtra. I lived in Mumbai for 22 years, so I know what I'm talking about. The misal was surprisingly sweet, even though I had specifically requested it to be spicy. The vada pav was merely acceptable. I recommend other places like Swaraj and “Paav Bhaji and More” for a much better vada pav experience.
