Went here for my birthday dinner and everything was perfect! Our server was super nice and gave us a great wine recommendation. We ordered oysters, lobster risotto, and the scallops and they were all incredible! They also have fabulous cocktails. I appreciated their gender neutral bathrooms along with the general ambiance and decor style of the place. We will absolutely be returning!
We have eaten at Puritan before and enjoyed the food and the experience. This may have been an off night, but the food seemed just average. The cavitelli was average. Our side of carrots were well dressed, but overcooked, and the single fig tart we ordered was set in a dry, cardboard-like crust and garnished with hard, underripe figs.
Wonderful experience! My waiter was amazing. He had great recommendations, was attentive and friendly. I would definitely go back and highly recommend for dining with friends, date night or solo dining— you will not be disappointed.
