Myself and a friend visited Purple Garlic to catch up and relex. The establishment looked clean and tidy with just a few area's in need of a bit of TLC e.g. cupboard doors with just screws protruding, cockeyed lamps and so forth... We ordered Poppadoms...and pickle tray wich were very fresh and perfect to be fair. When we ordered our drinks my friend received a warm unchilled with no offer of ice when ordered. The waiter brought our mains over even before we had finished our poppadoms and started moving our plates around even when I stated you're too early he just carried on. I've had eat-in and take-out meals from Purple Garlic on a number of occasions now. The food has always been great and the staff friendly. My most recent experience was particularly positive, and they were very helpful in identifying menu items which are (or can...be made) suitable for vegans. Their vegetable garlic chilli is probably the best curry I've ever had, and I've had lots!
we have a disappointment and we are completely blown away from the quality of food. the fish and garnel in the habibi khana were perfectly cooked and full of taste in a beautifully seasoned sose service and delivery time were excellent. we will definitely...order again can not wait to eat in. thanks purple garlic team
We visited here after it was recommended by the man at Silsden boats when we hired from them. We’re so glad he did as the curry , service and restaurant itself was fantastic. From pickle tray right through to the Naan breads we all enjoyed...the food and friendly staff.

Being new to the village and tried most of the curry houses gave purple garlic and try and was not disappointed by far the best curry house in the village could not be happier with the service and more importantly the food highly recommended
Lovely friendly staff and great curries enjoyed by all. Nice venue and ideal location on Silsden’s Main Street. Chefs were happy to adjust meals for dietary requirements for us. I would happily return!
This was exactly what the doctor ordered after a day on a canal boat! The curry was delicious and the onion bahjis the best I can remember. The service was good and friendly. A bit of a hidden gem.
we tried to take away and like to sit like that. the food was excellent and the staff very friendly. If they like an alcoholic drink with their curry, they have to bring themselves.

burn with taste, smart restaurant, friendly service. King prawn puree was super, like her keema nan and peshwari nan. very clean restaurant.
