I've been consistently ordering from this place for over 2 years. prices have consistently changed with everything now costing almost 1 to 1,5 pounds more (bigger increase than inflation). I kept ordering as it's tasty and the rice changed from a plastic container to a small aluminium one , which means less than half of the original portion (with the increase cost). But what has been outrageous is the fact that in my last order they also reduced the amount of prawns on the main dish..
The chicken in the chicken curry was so dry it was like it was cooked some were held then added to the curry the kebab starter was disappointing I would have rather eaten a microwave curry at least I know it's fresh
it was late but the staff on the phone was kind enough to check on the order, a minute later the food arrived and it tastes great. Thank you Purple Mango for always giving tasty food and never disappointing.
Very tasty however I did notice it was quite a bit more watery than usual. I hope that next time this will not be the case. This is a very wonderful takeout. I would recommend their Chicken Hara Masala. Book a table now
Delicious as always, being a brummie I’m a bit of a curry critic. Chicken tikka balti jalfrezi is banging. My go to for a curry every time now if I’m getting takeaway.
Food and flavours are always great! We just wish that for the cost and size of the container, we could get a bit more meat to sauce ratio.
Food late, but arrived and was very tasty however most of it was cold due to the late delivery time.
