The menu lacked pictures, which made ordering a bit confusing at first, but overall the food was good. Unfortunately, they were out of yogurt when I ordered, so I had to choose a bottled drink instead. While it felt a bit wasteful, I appreciated the efficiency of their takeout bowls that you can cover with a lid if you can’t finish your meal, which I ended up doing. However, the place felt more like a takeaway than a spot to relax and hang out for a while, mainly due to the lack of a welcoming service atmosphere.
Come here. Do it. Certified slay. We got four dishes including the Lamb Paolo and the cold beef tendon (my personal faves). It felt like I was transported straight to my mom’s kitchen post-kumon. My aunt said the Guilin noodles were amazing and she’s FROM Guilin. Beef noodle soup was also a classic. Food is a 10, service is a 10, boots. 太好吃了
