My only regret is that I didn't find this place sooner! The shaggy arepa sandwich is DELICIOUS. The empanadas are perfectly crispy without losing any of the inside flavor. The jawn and mozzarella and guava were both soo good. My second time I triedtheir sampler and EVERYTHING was delicious!! We also got an order of yucca fries. I absolutely love this place! They offer a great variety of delicious options at very affordable prices, with empanadas and churros costing around $3-$4 each (all day long). The ingredients are fresh and authentic, and you can really taste the quality. Plus, the dips are free, allowing you to enjoy one empanada with several different flavors. This definitely makes it my—and my wallet’s—favorite spot to eat in town.
I ordered three platters, but the milanesa was dry, tough, and nearly burnt. The fried rice tasted diluted, as if it had been reheated. It doesn't seem like the food is made fresh; everything appears to be prepared in advance, plated, and then warmed up when served. However, the empanadas were really tasty.
I had never tried Venezuelan food before Que Ricas, and it was amazing! The meat was incredibly tender, the sauce was great and unique, and the toppings were fresh. The staff was also very nice. Even if you have never had this type of food before, I wouldrecommend trying it out!
