Every evening I visit Quickchek, I order a sub and politely ask Karen, the employee usually preparing the orders, how she’s doing. Unfortunately, she always responds rudely, yelling and making sarcastic remarks under her breath. On November 19th, 2022, at 2:15 PM, this was my third visit, and once again, she shouted at me just for asking about my order status. I was simply trying to find out if my food was ready—what's wrong with that? I’ve decided not to return because her behavior is unacceptable. I should have expected this given her attitude. Save yourself the hassle and avoid this place. I can't believe I get yelled at just for picking up my food!
Very disappointed had been going there for awhile and manager had rudely made fun of me because i got upset because the hot water machine keeps breaking down not my falt so frustrating having to get into work on time and keep going to another store. So managers reaction was to show off in front of another customer making fun of me leaving for work getting upset again because of machine breaking down again instead of asking whats wrong. I am never going back again. Going to other Quick Check in Hazlet not Union Beach........:
We stood there uncertain if she would help, when she abruptly asked, "What are you doing, girls? Leaving, paying, or shopping?" It was clear she was unfriendly. I wish I had gotten her name because her attitude was unacceptable. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back, and if I could give this place zero stars, I would.
The woman was tall and slender, with piercing blue eyes and blonde hair that seemed to look right through you.
The sandwiches at Quickchek were really disappointing. I stopped in for a quick, last-minute meal of a sandwich and fries, but I won’t be ordering from here again. The fries were undercooked, and the sandwiches were served completely cold. The quality was just terrible. Honestly, I’d rather eat something else than come back here. Don’t waste your money—avoid this place!

I absolutely love this place! They have a fantastic selection of food, and the staff is very friendly. The restaurant is extremely clean, too! The new waffle breakfast sandwich is simply amazing! I'm visiting from Massachusetts, where there aren’t any Qwik Checks yet, and I’ve ordered this sandwich every day since I got here.
We ordered three sandwiches, but only one was made correctly. My husband has an allergic reaction to banana peppers, which were included in his sandwich. We were too far away to go back, and he needs to take his medication with food. This experience is causing him health issues.
I love this convenience store! Sandwiches and subs are made fresh, hot food and coffee/tea is served hot. Always freshly brewed. They also have a huge variety of ready to go snacks and chips/nuts etc.
I would give this place negative five stars. I went in to grab a sandwich, and I noticed a woman who had an accident, which made the entire building smell like a farm.

I usually give good ratings, but the young gentleman behind the counter made my sandwich very sloppy on 03/04/22 at 5:30 PM.
The woman who prepares the subs in the evening does an excellent job and makes them very neatly!
