Went to Ragonese as google suggested it might be the best Italian deli in Albany. I ordered a Chicken cutlet w/proscuitto di Parma, fresh mozz, roasted red peppers, oil and vinegar on a mini sub. The sandwich was decent, however the mini sub was dry and almost stale. It’s hard to get AMAZING bread north of NYC. Very solid though, for the capital region and the level of service was top notch.
This is a NYC style Italian delicatessen with amazing food! The staff is friendly and the prices are less than you would expect to pay. They also have a nice little parking lot making it easy to pick-up your order.
Very popular Italian import store and deli. Everyone is friendly. Lots of homemade takeaways including a delicious vegetarian eggplant Parmesan. They are a little pricey and they close a little early.
