Booked a table for 4 as it was Bonfire Night. Had to wait a few minutes while it was being cleaned but no probs in ordering drinks. The staff were very busy and the pub was full but orders were taken promptly at the bar. It was noisy when customers got excited over the TV football, but only to be expected. Food came promptly and in good portions. It’s not fine dining but there was an an extensive menu and prices were very reasonable. Highly recommended if you’re passing through Ramsbottom and just want a family pub with decent food in a nice location.
Food dreadful and service horrendous, asked for a completely plain burger for my son, they brought it full of salad, sauce and cheese and insisted that was a “plain” burger and was quite rude to us. Sunday roast practically incinerated. Real shame as the actual building is very picturesque and a focal point, it could be an amazing pub.
Booked a table for 2 which was confirmed but when arrived just by looking the dining area was overun with football supporters and no tables seemed available and even if there was I wouldn't of been keen to be seated between 2 groups of football fans, we wasn't greeted our table should never of been confirmed.
Good choice of food for adults and children and great portion size. Having to go to the bar to order was not an issue but there was only 1 bar tender at the time we were there taking food orders and serving drinks which was not enough. Book a table now
I'm sorry, but when we arrived, they had no idea about our booking. So I showed my email confirmation and they went back, had a different look, but said they had not received my booking so we could not serve us food
