You better be a hungry bunny.... I went there for breakfast yesterday. Staff were just delightful. Smiling and happy and very polite. The waiter, Darpan, who served me was particularly sweet and charming. Beautiful smile. There were three waiters there, with one lightly singing away to the radio and it just felt like the sort of place you'd want to go to everyday, if your waistline could handle it. I ordered the bacon and eggs, which I asked for with one piece of toast and no hash brown, as I was told it came with so many extras that in many cafes you have to pay for, and I didn't think I could eat that much. In this café you don't have to pay for extras; it's all included. Free juice, too....
The first thing that met me were the funny great portions. The food here is an excellent value for money. The massive burger (bovine pattner, 2 eggs, red prey prayer, pineapple, bacon and salad) was only 10 dollars and included one side of the chips that my partner could only half of it. I received the Rajs mixed grill for $ 15, in which a plate of steaks (though a bit on the thin side), 3 sausages, 3 eggs, 3 slices of bacon and a side of the chips. Unnecessarily to say, we could not finish everything. So be prepared to be fully filled or sharing a single tableware between 2 people. Grief The food was good, but I would not say it's amazing. Rajs is like my safe harbor. It's nothing, which is just and sweet. I always get "bacon and eggs" for $ 11.50 and it comes with bacon and eggs delivered to your taste, hash brown, a tomato on toast and a juice of your choice. Grief Grief Sometimes the waiting time could be a tiny to long it is basic food that is well cooked.
I went to Melbourne Cup day and it seemed that it was one of the only places open to Pako, so it was super busy. Great food, ok coffee, but my meal and coffee costs 15 dollars! My focaccia was chicken, pesto and avo and came with wedges and tasted great! Many Thanks!!! (Great friendly staff too)
