The online listing shows that the restaurant closes at 12 AM on Saturdays, but when I arrived at 11:25 PM, the young man was already closing up. He made eye contact with me several times but didn’t say anything until a large group of his classmates showed up. Only then did he open the window and inform me that they had actually closed at 11:15 PM. Their operating hours need to be updated. I was really looking forward to the ice, especially since I've had great customer service experiences at other locations. Unfortunately, this one left a very sour impression on me.
This summer, my wife organized a family gathering at this restaurant, and we were really impressed by the quick service. The prices were quite reasonable, and everyone enjoyed their meals—there were no complaints! The staff was friendly and genuinely attentive to ensuring that all customers were happy, even with our group of at least ten. The customer service was outstanding. We highly recommend this place for a nice summer getaway. Don’t hesitate to visit anytime; I’m sure their desserts are a delightful treat, no matter the weather!
If you’re not a fan of Ralph, then we probably can’t be friends, and you might as well be out of my family! I often reflect on what my life was like before Ralph opened in Merrick ten years ago. I can’t wait to visit when the beautiful weather comes, but I always feel a little sad when they close for the winter. There are just so many flavors and options to choose from—there aren’t enough days to try them all!

The best icy treats in the world! The young staff do an excellent job of maintaining the quality and ensuring everything is stocked, and their hard work really shines through.
The mango ices here are exceptional. You can really taste the abundance of real fruit in them, and the prices are very reasonable.
Always delicious! The only downside is that they frequently run out of chocolate.
Their soft serve melts quickly and they don't have the hard chocolate shell!
