Maybe a diff chef or management after the renovation? We ordered a gyoza, 2 ramens and 2 curry dishes (and 2 ades) and all were the saltiest food our family ever had. And this is my 3rd visit in 2 years and was not like this before. The serving order was also odd. We received the two ramens followed by the miso soups for the curries, then the gyoza half way through our noodles, then the two ades and finally the curries. All in all, something was very off.
I'm not saying the food wasn't good, but it was not right for my taste. The ramen were in a bucket of pork fat broth, which I could really not stomach it. Everything we ordered except for the gyoza had a ton of fat in it. Maybe I should've ordered one of the vegan options, which they do offer. I guess if you love pork and fat, you will love this place. Dude this is the best Ramen shop in the nj area. I can't speak for NYC, but no doubt they're the best in NJ. Amazing food, amazing prices, and overall just a very pleasant experience. I absolutely love this place, it's quick, authentic, delicious! I can always be in and out in 40 minutes or less, and with their new renovation, you don't even have to wait for a seat, although parking is still hard on busy nights. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20
