I'm not sure what the hype is or how this place is always packed (other than it being small), maybe it's the sushi but for sure it can't be the ramen. I ordered the Tonkotsu and it was disappointing. It had very little flavor, the noodles were undercooked and you only get half an egg where at other places you get a whole egg. I didn't even bother to try and finish it because it was really bland and why eat something that tastes like nothing. The color off the broth was a little weird as well which made me also not to eat it, I'm assuming the black garlic oil is what turned it a sickly gray color. I waited about 35 minutes for something I picked at and threw away, don't make the same mistake...
We ordered-Tonkotsu ramen-Mango Tango Sushi Roll-Three Piece TakoyakiWhen I visit a new restaurant, I always try the most basic ramen. We added takoyaki to the tonkotsu ramen set and it was so delicious. The broth of the ramen is deep and rich, and the noodles are properly cooked. There are many sushi roll options, so you can eat your favorite sushi roll with ramen. I recommend the Mango Tango that I picked. The seats in the restaurant are comfortable and the staff are very friendly. Next time I will try different sushi rolls and spicy ramen.
What a wonderful find! We stumbled upon a restaurant that catered perfectly to our cravings—one of us wanted ramen while the other was in the mood for sushi. After a little deliberation on our orders, the staff was prompt in serving us as soon as we were ready. We ended up getting both ramen and sushi, along with an appetizer, all for around $60. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend visiting to support local businesses!
My food was good but the service was lacking. Let me just say by the time they checked on us it was time to go. One napkin through the whole lunch, no sugar for my tea until it was cold already, when expressing concerns it was more of a back and forth! Never again!

The spicy miso ramen was once excellent, but it has declined in quality with the new meat they're using. I brought up my concerns to the server, but nothing was done. They just told me that they've switched to a lower quality meat.
The restaurant is excellent and offers great prices. I truly enjoyed the teriyaki salmon, beef bento, and red rock rolls. The total came to just over $40, which is quite reasonable considering the portion sizes these days.
I didn't try the ramen, but I was really disappointed with the bento combo I ordered. The karaage was bland and lacked flavor. I'm not sure what happened—maybe the marinade was off today?
Good service, tasty food, ramen is very good and will want to come back to try others. The parking is easy and not too far off the 5 Freeway.
