I would avoid making reservations with Ramon Freixa Madrid. After looking around and deciding to join Ramon, I booked my reservation a month in advance. I was beyond excited. Five hours prior to my dinner, they emailed me that my reservation was cancelled. Supposedly, they didn't have a card on file. That's fair. However, it's not fair to not contact the guest first, before outright canceling my booking. They said that they messaged my phone number several weeks before. I looked through all texts and didn't find anything. If anything, they should have emailed me. I truly believe they cancelled my reservation because they were overbooked. The worst michelin starred experience we've ever had. The first few courses were very good and the service was also on point. The main course arrived but the lamb was cold and there was a MASSIVE hair on one of the side dishes. We've double checked, we were offered fresh plates but declined as our lust for the dish was gone. After that, the dishes came at a very rapid pace, the service was incredibly rudey. An arrogance like you wouldn't believe. And to top it off, the bill was brought to us without asking. In two star michelin, that is beyond belief.
