The food and service were outstanding. The portion sizes are very reasonable for the price. I tried the taco combo plate, and it was more than enough. Each taco was generously filled, and it came with a side of beans and rice. I also requested grilled jalapeños and onions, and I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion—I expected much less, but I didn’t want it to go to waste. Additionally, I inquired about a spicier salsa, and let me tell you, the hot salsa definitely requires a warning label! The area can get quite busy, so parking might be a challenge during peak times. The staff were polite and willing to accommodate requests. Overall, it's an excellent Mexican restaurant.
I live in Austin, Texas, and Ramiro's is as close as it gets to authentic Tex-Mex comfort food. I can't understand the complaints and negative reviews regarding the prices. The pricing is completely justified given the excellent food they serve at Ramiro's. Considering the portion sizes, beautiful presentation, and fantastic flavor, the prices are just right. If I had to point out one downside, it would be the chips. In Texas, chips are lighter and sturdier to hold more guacamole with each bite, but Ramiro's offers delicious New Mexico-style chips instead. If you find yourself in Louisville, don’t miss out on this fantastic restaurant!
Love, love, love the service I get at Ramiro's! I've gone for several years and nothing has changed, it's always great! In the Summer it's great to sit outside on the deck or patio area, but come early because it's crowded and parking is tight. If it's crowded you know the service and food is amazing! In the Winter I do take out and they always make sure everything is just right! Go check them, you will not be disappointed!
I had the best Brisket Tacos tonight. They were so delicious. A friend of mine actually pointed me to this place for dinner. His food looked good and I know mine was. The restaurant itself was super busy but it’s a Saturday night, what else would you expect for a good restaurant. The service was great, drinks were refilled several times. I’ll be back for sure.

Wow, I absolutely loved this place! The grilled chicken fajitas were fantastic, and the chips and salsa were incredible. I enjoyed mixing the hot and mild sauces together. The green beans were really delicious too! Our service was outstanding; our host was friendly, down-to-earth, and very attentive. I will definitely be back!
I had a great time visiting this restaurant with friends. The food was delicious, especially the roasted pork, which was incredibly juicy. It felt like it was made just for me. Our service was excellent—prompt and attentive. The iced tea was freshly brewed and served in quart-sized mason jars.
