after a nice afternoon in the scenic landscape of lüneburg heide I had dinner in ramster as it is listed in the guide michelin. from the outside the restaurant looks rather inconspicuous, reminds me of a small caffe or snack. but the Jewel is... within! two small dining rooms welcome the guests, with views of the beautiful garden. prebook recommended on Sunday evening, but almost all tables were occupied. a full of thumbs up to the renter and the two waitresses for the wonderful service: friendly and very professional. because the ramster restaurant has a bib-gourmant, we had high expectations. we took only one main course, as this is true enough for us, especially in Germany, where large portions are served. the pagan, lam of the lueneburger heath that my wife had. very good, not complaining there. the pork fillet that I had with sweet and potato was so beautiful and tender. the sosse was very salty and pampered the taste of eating. when this was mentioned, the lady simply smiled without saying anything. strange. as mentioned, we had higher expectations and did not return.
