I used to work at this restaurant during high school and Joe is very particular about ensuring that all aspects of the store are taken care of: from happy customers to high quality ice cream and a happy staff, most of whom are high schoolers. During my visit on a hot summer day, I purchased a "micro" size (a large scoop) for $5. I chose Cocoa Joel, which is a combination of their Milk Chocolate and Bittersweet (dark) chocolate ice cream with chocolate chips and cookies similar to Oreos. I have always been a fan of this ice cream shop and have been consistently impressed with the quality over the years. However, I was a bit disappointed that the prices have increased to $5 for one scoop. The store recently underwent a renovation, with a new black and red color scheme, as well as all new tables and seats. I recommend visiting this establishment if you are looking for delicious, high-quality ice cream.
The rasmalai-flavored ice cream at this Boston chain is incredibly delicious. It is arguably the best ice cream chain in the city, featuring a selection of excellent Indian-inspired flavors. Belmont has a fantastic ice cream shop. They offer unique flavors like Basil Chip. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I tried the coffee and ginger snap molasses flavors, while my wife opted for Basil Chip and Vegan Chocolate. It was the perfect treat to cool off on a hot day.
