Ambiance was nice. Our server was pretty attentive. Asked him what he recommended for a drink and we got the spiced Sangria. We went right before dinner and the food came out fast! Meaning, we ordered the waffle nachos with brisket and so good. Just a slight kick of spicy. Before we could finish the nachos the food came out, so there was no pause in eating! I ordered the bbq shrimp pasta as many kept saying it was good. It was good but not something I would tell people they had to try. My friend got the half chicken. She liked it. Did mention the chicken was a little dry but didn 't mind. The calabasitas were a little bland but ok. We ordered dessert, I ordered the brownie- pretty good. I di...

So we hit the Ranch House on a Saturday evening just after 6 pm. There was a 30-35 minute wait. What is surprising is that as I walked around the restaurant, there were probably 5-7 open tables. I don't think they had the staff to run them all. After we weee seated, we were greeted pleasantly and our drink order was taken. The Prosecco was slightly sweet, but very pleasant. For dinner, I had a full slab of ribs. They were nice and smoky, but I felt some were over cooked and tougher than I would have liked. My wife ordered the flat iron steak and said it was extremely good. The service was somewhat slow. It was very noticeable between the time I asked for the check and when we finally cashed...

I was not impressed on my first visit here. A sunny afternoon outside... dark dismal inside. We were sent to a booth in the bar... which is where we usually like to eat... because it 's usually more lively. This one was dark lonely... the menu is printed in shades of brown, which is HARD to read on low light. We came because of several best salads in town online recommendations... I don 't know where they usually eat, but the 5 salads listed were NOTHING special. Other than salads, everything else was all VERY salty /or high fat choices. I couldn 't find anything remotely healthy on the menu. Great for some, but not on our menu. :

Just happened on this place for lunch while driving around Santa Fe during a visit. There were lots of cars (always a good sign). Wait was only about ten minutes. Both my husband and I ordered off the lunch menu. I had the chicken pasta with the sour dough bread. Excellent choice. Not spicy, but beautifully seasoned! My husband had a grilled pepper jack cheese with pulled pork, green chiles and onion, together with a cup of tomato soup. I had to sample his, as well! It was so good!!! Would highly recommend this place. Good prices. Not too expensive as the other places closer to the town square. Book a table now

We really enjoyed eating here with friends who live in Santa Fe we were visiting. We live in Texas. The baby back ribs and corn bread were really good which is probably because the restaurant is apparently owned by Texans. The server remembered all our orders by memory and got it all right! They were able to separate the bill easily as well.

The place to go for excellent BBQ--love the brisket--generous servings and reasonable prices. Lots of parking. Attentive service. Comfy surroundings. Just solid value and good food. And did I say Lemonade? Get it. Tart and sweet, perfect for a hot, dry day.

Great place to get some bbq in Santa Fe Unless you have a grill master at home of course. I ate the pulled pork and it was tender not dry at all. The drinks from the bar were adequate. Cornbread was also good, not dry at all
