Rangrez - Table reservation

We had been waiting to visit Rangrez for a fair while. The food was worth the wait and that is the most important bit. I had interacted with the owner over a Facebook post and I took his word to try the Daal Makhani. It met the mark. While the main Punjabi dishes were on point, the Chinese inspired Gobhi dish was a touch too oily and was served without any chutneys, which is disappointing. For an authentic Punjabi food joint, it was odd to see the onion salad charged separately I have probably been spoilt by all the desi authentic places that would never charge for onions, chillies, chutneys, so on. Really great place for a family eat-out. The place is comfortable, has a really nice ambience and really great and modest staff. Plus the menu is super affordable and you get quality dishes that are extremely delicious but are not too heavy on the purse. I have been an admirer of their food since a long time and I'm really glad to see that they still maintain a decent standard. Must try!
