This is a true family Chringuito on one of the Vera beaches. We stumbled across it after driving inadvertently into the large nudist area! So were wary this too was in the nudist area! We had a beer in the restaurant next to this one, but were enticed by the offer of fried fish platter with salad for 2 special! There seems to be every member of the family working here babies being passed between barmen and cooks! Food was delicious and thoroughly happy to have decided to eat here
Rather than a main meal for lunch we asked for several raciones . Service was fine and the food was decent. Beer was very cold (glasses had been in the fridge also) and much appreciated! The only problem, and it wasn 't due to the restaurant, were the flies. We spent our lunch swatting the flies away, which was a pity. We decided not to return but rather eat meals at other restaurants indoors.
Emplazamiento unico. Servicio rapido, agradable y trato cercano. Buenisima calidad tanto en arroces como pescados. Hemos comido y cenado 3 días y en comparación con otros restaurantes cercanos el Rape de Oro ha sido el mejor en cuanto a precio y calidad. Recomendable 100%. Volveremos desde Ciudad Real.
Called here a few times just for drinks , the staff were so friendly . On our last full day there they opened the kitchen for us early , as we were up the next day for an early flight ,. The food was lovely we had chicken , salad and grilled tuna the staff were so obliging. I would certainly go back ! Book a table now
Muy bien sitio con un ambiente buenísimo, tranquilo y con muy buena comida. Se pasa una gran noche y sobretodo espectacular servicio de los camareros especialmente de Curro, un camarero maravilloso, atento y con una actitud excelente. Te ameniza la noche y es muy amable con sus clientes.
Sitio ideal para comer frente al mar, hemos pedido paella para tres y hemos comido 4, la ración de chopitos abundante y muy rica. El servicio muy agradable y el camarero que nos ha servido muy atento.
Great tapas, lovely staff tolerant of my **** spanish. Our children made friends with a group of spanish kids there with families and played together till gone 11pm.
The best paella we ever had and very friendly and helpful staff though didn't speak much English but we did manage at the end. Highly-recommended! Book a table now
