Ratskeller - Table reservation

Have come hear with 4 colleagues in the asparagus season. Most therefore went for the asparagus with Schnitzel and sauce hollandaise. They all loved it. I had a small mixed salad (which was fresh with a tasty dressing) and lamb, which was very tender. The chef tries to do more than the standard dishes, even the French fries were clearly homemade. The wine list offers a good choice of mainly German and French wines, which I would not have expected as Oberursel is not within a wine region. The atmosphere and ambiance is cosy with many corners offering also some privacy. Overall slightly more pricey than your standard local restaurant, but it was worth it.

The restaurant offers a good seasonal cuisine, or good buoyant cuisine, as they like to say in gerrmany. We had 4 different dishes, rabbits with pumpkinsash, white carving, steak and the risotto. Since mushrooms are currently in the season they were the most common ingredients among the dishes. The steak and the risotto are probably the most in our memory. The least impressive dish was the carving, not because it was bad, just the least exciting dish of the night. Make sure you leave a lot of space for the Kaiserschmarren, which is unfortunately a 2 person dessert.

Walking through the city, we stumbled over this quiet little restaurant in the area of garden and green. The restaurant staff was very friendly and warm! And the food was delicious, like this in a Michelin star restaurant! I hope you get a day!!! Until then we look forward to your new combinations of incredibly wonderful aromas!!!

All I have to say is WOW!!! So good ..change nothing.perfekt place I will return here many times.good value for money. And really good cook ..service was also good

Had the best meal. Efficient and friendly, great dry wine proposal and absolutely delicious food. Very recommended.
